53 MOUNT PLEASANT JUNIOR SCHOOL When Mount Pleasant Junior School approached us to design their multi-purpose library, IT and intervention space, we knew straight away it was going to be a very special project. This large, light and airy room had the potential to become an incredible facility for the children and we were determined that our design would be worthy of such a brilliant space. We are sure you will agree that the finished result surpasses expectations and looks absolutely amazing! Call us on 01889 271523 to discuss your project. Case Study: 52 From the initial consultation through to the design, delivery and fitting, Incube have been friendly, professional and very easy to work with. The end result speaks for itself and with the school’s own elements added, we have a space that is very much the heart of the school and a place for our children to learn; our Bibliotheca. An extra table with drum seats allows for one-to-one teaching or small intervention groups to work in a discreetly screened location. The IT zone with its curvy shapes and vibrant colours offers a welcoming take on the usual utilitarian look of such facilities. The curved seats encourage collaboration. The main structure partitions the centre of the room from the walkways around the perimeter, but the archways and the open dens maintain good sightlines throughout the space. The school’s own customised graphics give a personal touch to their ‘Bibliotheca’ adding a very unique flavour. We think they really work well with the colours of the furniture. A range of different seating areas are included in the central part of the room. Here, curved Revolve seats around a low table create a cool, coffee shop vibe. At one end of the room this bright and colourful work zone provides a versatile area for group teaching and interventions as well as collaborative tasks and independent learning.
